This role functions like the &#8220;heart&#8221; of the campus, overseeing hostel operations, facilities maintenance, safety, administration, and supporting the overall student experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This position will be based at <strong>MCKL Penang, Pykett Campus.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What you will be doing:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prepare and process monthly utility bills, usage tracking, and cost calculations. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage administrative documentation, including contracts, inventories, hostel records, and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) files. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee day-to-day hostel operations, including check-ins, check-outs, room allocation, and facility upkeep. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for repairs, preventive maintenance, and project works. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Track weekly and monthly hostel occupancy, residents&#8217; matters, disciplinary cases, and campus operational updates. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support ISO-QMS documentation, updates, and compliance requirements. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in budget preparation, financial tracking, and data entry into the college&#8217;s finance system. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide operational support to general college functions and events when required. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who are we looking for?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Possess a minimum of a Bachelor&#8217;s degree in any field of study. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be able to work <strong>from Tuesday to Saturday, 8.30 AM to 5.30 PM,<\/strong> with flexibility to adjust working hours when required for hostel-related services. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Able to remain contactable for urgent or emergency matters outside normal working hours. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Required to have a valid Malaysian driving license. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possess good computer literacy and the ability to manage administrative tasks effectively. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Able to communicate in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, verbally and in writing. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be able to gain transferable skills such as communication, teamwork, organisation, problem-solving and time management. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Detail-oriented, meticulous, analytical and good organisation and planning skills. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possess good communication skills in oral and written in Malay and English. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>*Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the above sounds like you, MCKL wants you! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Drop in your CV at <a href=\"mailto:hr@mckl.edu.my\">hr@mckl.edu.my<\/a> to apply for this position<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MCKL Penang (Pykett Campus) is seeking a committed person who is ready to take charge of the hostel&#8217;s day-to-day operational needs of the campus.
