College readiness is the set of skills, behaviours, and knowledge a high school student should have before enrolment in their first year of college. Counsellors and teacher play a key role in making sure this happens and can help students find academic success in college. <\/p>\n

A college degree opens doors to the kind of successful, fulfilling career that all students aspire toward. But the postsecondary environment is a completely different ballgame than the typically highly supported, scaffolded, and familiar environment of high school. For students to be successful, they need to come in prepared with more than a solid foundation in the traditional reading, writing, and arithmetic. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
