{"id":6223,"date":"2023-05-02T10:02:46","date_gmt":"2023-05-02T02:02:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mckl.edu.my\/pykett\/?p=6223"},"modified":"2026-01-23T11:06:52","modified_gmt":"2026-01-23T03:06:52","slug":"executive-senior-executive-alumni-relations-university-placement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mckl.edu.my\/pykett\/2023\/05\/02\/executive-senior-executive-alumni-relations-university-placement\/","title":{"rendered":"Senior Executive\/Executive, University Placement"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Methodist College Kuala Lumpur (MCKL) is looking for a dynamic and motivated Senior Executive\/Executive, University Placement to join our team and lead university placement initiatives while strengthening university partnerships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Counsel and guide students on their education goals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Handle and assist students in their university applications, both local and overseas. This includes checking and reviewing of students&#8217; personal statements, references, certificates, transcripts and applications are submitted, managing and following up students&#8217; admission process into universities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide guidance to students in writing personal statements and preparing testimonials for university applications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct mock interviews to prepare students for university and scholarship interviews.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee and coordinate the admissions process with partner universities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in organising university-placement-related events (workshops, talks, fairs, other events).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assisting the head in office administrative matters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Job Requirement:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Communication, Counselling, Psychology or related field preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum of 3 &#8211; 5 years of working experience in any field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Passionate about engaging and working with tertiary-level students.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possesses strong communication and interpersonal abilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrates strong customer service capabilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficient in spoken and written English.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Social media savvy with a strong understanding of digital platforms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exposure to Canva or any design-related software would be an advantage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adaptable, flexible, and capable of multitasking effectively.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Capable of working with minimal supervision.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>*Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the above sounds like you, MCKL wants you!<br>Drop-in your CV at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:hr@mckl.edu.my\">hr@mckl.edu.my<\/a>\u00a0to apply for this position.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MCKL is looking for an energetic and communicative individual who will provide advice, support, and education counselling to our students.
