{"id":7408,"date":"2023-09-11T14:59:01","date_gmt":"2023-09-11T06:59:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mckl.edu.my\/pykett\/?p=7408"},"modified":"2023-09-11T15:20:58","modified_gmt":"2023-09-11T07:20:58","slug":"programme-leaders","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mckl.edu.my\/pykett\/2023\/09\/11\/programme-leaders\/","title":{"rendered":"Programme Leaders"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Are you ready to embark on a transformative journey in higher education? <strong>MCKL College (Penang, Pykett Campus)<\/strong> is looking for <strong><u>three (3)<\/u><\/strong> experienced Programme Leaders who will be overseeing and managing the following programmes within the College:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Diploma in Computer Science &amp; IT<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Diploma in Digital Business &amp; Digital Marketing<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Diploma in Early Childhood Education<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Programme Leaders will be responsible for ensuring the quality, effectiveness and compliance of the programme, as well as providing leadership and support to the Head of Department and students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What will you be doing? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Ensure that class sizes are suitable for effective learning, and closely monitor student enrollment, retention, and academic progress.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Manage the daily operations of the academic programmes or courses and address students\u2019 academic and administrative needs promptly.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Prepare documentation and ensure that procedure is aligned with both MQA accreditation requirements.<\/li><li>Facilitate the smooth coordination of exam-related activities, including setting exam question papers and ensuring moderation processes are properly executed in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Oversee the digital course files to ensure the instructional content meets the institution&#8217;s standards and learning objectives.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Participate in marketing initiatives, outreach events, and engagement efforts to promote the academic programmes and attract prospective students).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who are we looking for?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>At least a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in the relevant field with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant academic experience.<\/li><li>Possess experience in MQA Accreditation.<\/li><li>Possess experience of being a programme leader \/ programme coordinator \/ course advisor.<\/li><li>Problem solving mindset and ability to adapt to dynamic conditions.&nbsp;<\/li><li>For Programme Leader of Diploma in Computer Science &amp; IT:&nbsp; Preferably with computing skills, familiar with different programming language and database. Also, with knowledge \/ experience in Data Science, IoT or Cybersecurity.<\/li><li>For Programme Leader of Diploma in Digital Marketing &amp; Digital Business:&nbsp; Possess Professional Certificate in Digital Marketing.&nbsp; Preferably with teaching and industry experience.
