Why Be a Certified Social Worker?
Across the world, social work practice and social work education are global endeavours. Social work is an international discipline, practiced in these areas: child and family welfare; health care; mental health services; substance addiction rehabilitation; offending and prison services; anti-violence and abuse; advocacy for human rights and social justice; social planning and policy; and social research and education.
In Malaysia, the social work profession bill is in the final stage of drafting. With the bill passed it will be mandatory for Social Workers to be qualified before serving.

Two 16-week field placement sessions with various organisations such as Malaysian Care, Yayasan Chow Kit, Pink Triangle and many more to equip students with first-hand learning experience.
