College readiness is the set of skills, behaviours, and knowledge a high school student should have before enrolment in their first year of college. Counsellors and teacher play a key role in making sure this happens and can help students find academic success in college.

For students to be successful, they need to come in prepared with more than a solid foundation in the traditional reading, writing, and arithmetic.
