Executive / Senior Executive, Alumni Relations & University Placement


Methodist College is looking for an energetic and communicative individual who will provide career support for our students and liaise with industry partners to co-organize workshops and events.   If you want to grow with our team, this is the right place for you.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Organise alumni activities, including keeping track of alumni and their whereabouts.
  • Counsel and guide students on their education goals.
  • Handle and assist students in their university applications, both local and overseas. This includes checking and reviewing students’ personal statements, references, certificates, transcripts, and application forms before applications are submitted, managing and following up students’ admission process into universities.
  • Advise and guide students in writing personal statements; prepare students’ testimonials for university applications; and conduct mock interviews for university/scholarship interviews.
  • Oversee the admission processes for the partner universities.
  • Assisting the head in office administrative matters.

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communication/Counselling/Psychology/related field
  • 3-5 years of working experience in any field
  • Required: Passionate about working and relating to tertiary students
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Strong Customer Service Skills
  • Proficient in Spoken and Written English
  • Social Media savvy
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (and Canva or any design-related software would be an advantage)
  • Adaptable, Flexible & able to Multi-Task
  • Independent and able to work in a team.
