Methodist College Penang (Pykett Campus) is looking for an Executive to support our Exam & Timetabling Unit along with daily operation activities. You will support in examination planning, scheduling, and coordination to help ensure a smooth and efficient assessment experience for students and staff.
What you will be doing:
- Prepare and maintain an accurate timetable by collaborating with academic and non-academic departments, ensuring timely updates and resolving scheduling conflicts.
- Collect and analyse timetable data from various sources, assist with ad hoc venue requests, and advise on availability based on the master timetable.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support for examination activities, including planning, organising, and exam scheduling.
- Ensure the integrity and proper maintenance of examination records, adhering to policies and guidelines throughout the examination process.
- Liaise with partner universities, external examiners, and relevant departments to facilitate examination matters and organise post-examination activities.
Who are we looking for?
- Preferably at least 1 year of experience in a Tertiary Education setting.
- Diploma/ Advanced Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in any field or equivalent.
- Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysian, and Mandarin, both written and spoken, is required.
- A highly organised, self-motivated, and able to thrive under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and a trustworthy person.
- Computer literate with good IT skills and proficient in MS Office and MS Excel.
