This fundraising event is a CSR initiative jointly organised by MCKL Common Thread Club and MCKL Student Affairs, aimed at supporting food distribution for the urban poor, homeless individuals, and low-income communities.
The fundraising will take place on 8 January during lunchtime, where all proceeds will go directly towards the club’s food distribution efforts, while also helping to raise awareness of important global and social issues. This meaningful initiative is carried out in collaboration with Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (JKM), Penang.
Following the fundraising event, the food distribution programme will be held on 16 January at the PTPGA Penang Homeless Shelter, reaching out to 80 homeless individuals. Through this programme, we hope to not only provide essential support, but also foster greater understanding, compassion, and care for those in need within our community.
