Office Of The Registrar Executive


Methodist College Penang (Pykett Campus) is looking for an Executive to support our Office of the Registrar with the daily operational activities. You will support student admissions along with various other academic work. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to grow their skills and work on administration in the academic industry.

What you will be doing:

  • Effectively perform all administrative functions related to admitting new students, progressing students and arranging for orientation for new intakes.
  • Regularly update student profiles, including student status, program status, subjects enrolled, and personal information and digitise student files.
  • Prepare student letters for various verification purposes and issuance of transcripts for university applications.
  • Process scholarship, bursary, and financial aid applications, maintain comprehensive records and handle reimbursements to students.
  • Serve as the liaison officer for e-IPTS, Tracer Study, PTPTN loan, and EPF withdrawal, also updating the e-IPTS system to ensure the College’s student data is up to date

Who are we looking for?  

  • Preferably at least 1 year of experience in a Tertiary Education setting.
  • Diploma/ Advanced Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in any field or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysian, and Mandarin, both written and spoken, is required.
  • A highly organised, self-motivated, and able to thrive under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and a trustworthy person.
  • Computer literate with good IT skills and proficient in MS Office and MS Excel.cel.
