MCKL Penang, Pykett Campus is looking for a Laboratory Technician who is passionate about science and education, and who enjoys supporting students and academic staff in a dynamic laboratory environment.
What you will be doing:
- Set up laboratory apparatus according to designated laboratory preparatory guides.
- Ensure all apparatus and equipment are well-equipped and maintained.
- Assist lecturers in the setup and preparation of apparatus for practical examinations.
- Ensure safety regulations and improve lab safety procedures.
- Assist lecturers in the smooth running of the lab and both practical classes, along with examinations.
Who are we looking for?
- Diploma or Degree holder in Applied Science, or relevant Science field.
- Prior experience in an educational setting laboratory is an added advantage.
- Attention to detail.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and lab best practices
- Work with equipment and instruments relevant to labs, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results.
