MCKL College (Penang, Pykett Campus) is proud to share the latest achievements of our students in the Kangaroo Math Competition 2025. A total of 26 Pre-U students represented our college in this prestigious international competition, showcasing their enthusiasm and aptitude for mathematics.
Founded in the early 1980s, the Kangaroo Math Competition is currently the world’s largest math competition, with more than 6 million participants from over 100 countries in 2024. Malaysia joined the AKSF family in 2012 and has organised the national edition since 2013, with nearly 77,000 students from over 2,400 schools participating in 2025.
The results, which were released in August 2025, saw 23 of our students receiving recognition for their performance:

An awards ceremony was held in Pykett Campus to celebrate the achievements of the students. Dr Gerard Boey, Principal of MCKL College, presented the awards and certificates to the students and the teacher advisor, Dr Lim.
