MCKL College (Penang, Pykett Campus), in collaboration with Kode Digital Sdn Bhd, organised an industry-led workshop titled “AI Unlocked: Know Your Tools, Level Up Your Game” on 21 May 2026 as part of its ongoing commitment to providing students with industry exposure and preparing them for the rapidly evolving digital workplace. The workshop was attended by 20 students from the Computing and Business diploma programmes, who gained valuable insights into the practical applications of artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging digital tools.
The session was facilitated by Mr Willy Tan, Sales and Marketing Director, and Ms Koh Bei Xian, Project Director, who shared valuable insights into how AI is transforming the way organisations operate. Drawing on their professional experience, the speakers demonstrated how AI-powered tools are being used in areas such as content creation, marketing, and productivity enhancement.
Throughout the workshop, students were introduced to a variety of AI-powered platforms and explored their practical applications in real-world business environments. They gained a deeper understanding of how AI can improve efficiency, support informed decision-making, and drive innovation across a wide range of industries.
The workshop successfully bridged the gap between academic learning and industry practice, equipping students with relevant knowledge and practical skills that will strengthen their employability and enhance their career readiness in an increasingly AI-driven economy.
