We are seeking a dynamic professional for the role of Lecturer cum Industrial Liaison Coordinator. You will deliver quality teaching while building industry partnerships, enhancing student employability, supporting internships and ensuring curriculum relevance aligned with academic standards.
What you will be doing:
Industrial Liaison Coordinator
- To handle all Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) related matters between MCKL and Industry Partners, including the execution of the MOU.
- To source suitable industry partners for MCKL.
- To organise talks/workshops to prepare students for industrial placements.
- To coordinate with industry partners for the internship and job placement.
- To organise meaningful events with industry partners for current and future students and MCKL staff members.
- To organise guest lectures on relevant subject areas.
- To conduct regular site visits for intern placements to monitor progress, address concerns, and ensure a positive internship experience.
Lecturing Duties
- To assist in the lecture modules assigned by the department.
- To plan, prepare and deliver lectures/tutorials/coursework and teaching & learning activities in the respective programme.
- To assist in the development of learning materials, prepare schemes of work and maintain records to monitor students’ progress, achievement and attendance.
- To provide the necessary guidance and advice to students in their learning.
- To prepare and set assessments/ examinations for the assigned course, submit for vetting and marking of exam papers.
- To perform any other duties as and when assigned by the direct superior/ Programme Leader or the Senior Management Team.
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in industrial relations or a related HR function.
- Creative in coming up with interactive teaching methods for both classroom and online teaching.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Passionate in teaching and educating students.
- A great team player.
