Methodist College Kuala Lumpur (MCKL) is looking for a dynamic and motivated Senior Executive/Executive, University Placement to join our team and lead university placement initiatives while strengthening university partnerships.
Job Responsibilities:
- Counsel and guide students on their education goals.
- Handle and assist students in their university applications, both local and overseas. This includes checking and reviewing of students’ personal statements, references, certificates, transcripts and applications are submitted, managing and following up students’ admission process into universities.
- Provide guidance to students in writing personal statements and preparing testimonials for university applications.
- Conduct mock interviews to prepare students for university and scholarship interviews.
- Oversee and coordinate the admissions process with partner universities.
- Assist in organising university-placement-related events (workshops, talks, fairs, other events).
- Assisting the head in office administrative matters.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Counselling, Psychology or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years of working experience in any field.
- Passionate about engaging and working with tertiary-level students.
- Possesses strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrates strong customer service capabilities.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Social media savvy with a strong understanding of digital platforms.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Exposure to Canva or any design-related software would be an advantage.
- Adaptable, flexible, and capable of multitasking effectively.
- Capable of working with minimal supervision.
