Eligible Criteria
- The Merit Scholarship (“Scholarship”) is open to all students below the age of 25 years enrolling in a full-time MCKL programme within two years of completion of their SPM/IGCSE/UEC/A Level/AUSMAT.
- Only Trial/Forecast Results which are obtained from registered schools under the Ministry of Education, can be used to apply for the scholarship.
- Successful applicants will be notified by the Office of the Registrar.
- The following table is the equivalency of grades across SPM and IGCSE examinations:

- For SPM results, English 1119 will not be considered in the overall SPM results.

- Scholarship offer is considered null and void if the student fails to meet the minimum entry requirement as set by the MOHE in their actual results.
- Students can only be on one scholarship or financial aid at a time, whichever is higher.
General Terms & Conditions
- Applicants must submit their results to the Office of the Registrar within 7 days of release of the actual results to confirm their eligibility for the Scholarship, – failing which applicants may have their Scholarship be put under review.
- Applicants may apply for more than one MCKL scholarship/ bursary/ financial aid/ discount (collectively, “award”) at any one time but will be permitted to benefit from only one award, which shall generally be the award with the highest quantum.
- Recipients of the Scholarship are required to pay the first semester fees in full before the commencement of the semester. Scholarship disbursement will commence from the second semester onwards.
- The tuition fees coverage for the Scholarship are as follow:

- Students who have not fully settled their semester fees are not entitled to any Scholarship disbursement in the subsequent semester. The Scholarship will be disbursed on a semester-by-semester basis with the final disbursement upon the successful completion of the programme.
- In the event a recipient is offered and accepts any scholarship, bursary, financial aid or other sponsorship for their MCKL studies from any other entity or person, (s)he shall inform the Office of the Registrar in writing within two (2) weeks of such acceptance. The Institution reserves the right to withdraw or adjust the quantum of the award to the recipient. Recipients who fail to inform the Office of the Registrar may face disciplinary action and/or be required to reimburse the full value of the disbursed award to MCKL.
- The offered award is not applicable to and does not cover:
- Subjects/ Credit hours in which no examinations/assessments were attempted;
- Withdrawn/ Dropped subjects; and
- Repeat subjects/ papers.
- The Scholarship is only valid for the duration of the enrolled programme and does not cover any extension of the programme beyond its minimum duration.
- All the awarded recipients are required to pass Service Learning and Character Formation subjects in order to maintain the award. However:
- ADTP students are not required to take Character Formation;
- ACCA FIA students are required to additionally pass Communication Skills.
- The Scholarship may not be transferred to other programmes or deferred to other intakes except with the prior written consent of MCKL. Such consent may be withheld at MCKL’s absolute discretion.
- In the event a recipient withdraws from the enrolled Programme at any time after acceptance of the Scholarship (including prior to Programme commencement), any refund of fees is subject to the Terms and Conditions as stated in the Student Handbook.
- If the recipient is subject to disciplinary action, suspended or expelled from MCKL at any time before the completion of the Programme, the Scholarship shall terminate and be automatically revoked. MCKL reserves the right to require the recipient to reimburse the full value of the disbursed Scholarship in such events.
- MCKL reserves the right to involve Scholarship recipients in various activities of the Institution, including interviews, MCKL events, education events, social media, photography/videos, and other promotional or marketing activities of MCKL.
- The Scholarship is given at the sole discretion of MCKL. Applicants are not guaranteed approval of the Scholarship notwithstanding fulfilling the conditions set.
- This Scholarship is not transferable or cannot be encashed and does not cover external examination fees (if applicable) or textbooks.
- MCKL reserves the right to amend any criteria and/or terms and conditions of the Scholarship as and when it deems necessary. The decision of MCKL on all matters pertaining to the Scholarship is absolute and final.
MCKL Special Scholarships & Financial Aid
Applicable Programmes
The MCKL Excellence Award (“Award”) is open for application for the following MCKL Programmes (full time):
- ACCA Foundation In Accountancy (ACCA FIA);
- American Degree Transfer Program;
- Australian Matriculation;
- Cambridge A Level;
- Diploma in Computer Science;
- Diploma in Digital Business;
- Diploma in Digital Marketing;
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education;
- Diploma in Financial Technology;
- Diploma in Information Technology.
Scholarship Value
- The Scholarship is in the form of a full tuition fee waiver for the duration of the selected Programme at MCKL. It does not consist of any cash award or disbursement.
- The Scholarship does not cover German Language for Cambridge A Level.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants shall be Malaysians below the age of 25. (Blue identification card).
- Applicants shall provide evidence of academic excellence as follows:
- Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM): 8As (excluding A-); or
- International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE): 8As

- Applicants may apply for the Scholarship with forecast or trial results but will be required to provide actual results to MCKL within 7 days of release thereof as proof of meeting the criteria, – failing which applicants may have their Scholarship put under review.
- Applicants shall submit copies of certificates, awards, commendations, references, and other documents to evidence achievements, excellence, and other exemplary involvement or behaviour.
- Applicants shall submit proof of household income (Tax Return form, Salary Slips). Household income will be a major consideration when shortlisting candidates. If no such documents are submitted, it shall be assumed that the applicant does not come from a financially disadvantaged background and the selection weightage shall be adjusted accordingly.
- Incomplete documents will affect the outcome of the application.
Application Deadline
- Applications must be submitted to MCKL’s Enrolment and Admission Office by the following dates:
- Round 1 (January Intake): 31st December of previous year ;
- Round 2 (May – June – July Intake): 31st May
- Late applications will not be considered.
Scholarship Disbursement
- Disbursement of the Scholarship is subject to the following conditions:
- Execution of the Scholarship Agreement by the recipient as acceptance of the Scholarship;
- Completion of all enrolment and admission requirements for the MCKL Programme;
- Payment of all fees, deposits and other sums not covered by the Scholarship, including a sum equivalent to the first semester’s tuition fees.
- The Scholarship comprises tuition fee waiver on a semester-by-semester basis. The recipient must meet the academic and other requirements stipulated by MCKL for continued disbursement of the Scholarship.
- The Scholarship is based upon the number of subjects attempted in each semester’s final exams and is restricted to the following total number of subjects/credit hours only:

Maintenance of Scholarship
- The Scholarship recipients are required to maintain an academic progress of a minimum of GPA 3.20 (ADTP, A Level, AUSMAT, Diploma programmes) or an average of 70% (ACCA FIA internal assessments) for each semester throughout the Programme.
- All Scholarship recipients are required to pass Service Learning and Character Formation subjects in order to maintain the Scholarship. However:
- ADTP students are not required to take Character Formation;
- All Scholarship recipients are required to attend the Graduation & Awards Ceremony in order to be refunded the final portion of the scholarship, provided the above conditions are also met.

The Institution reserves the right to withdraw or adjust the quantum of the MCKL Excellence Award Scholarship to the recipient. Recipients who fail to inform the Office of the Registrar may face disciplinary action and/or be required to reimburse the value of the award to MCKL.
- This Scholarship is only valid for the duration of the enrolled Programme and does not cover any extension of the Programme beyond its minimum duration.
- The Scholarship may not be transferred to other MCKL programmes or deferred to other intakes except with the prior written consent of MCKL. Such consent may be withheld at the Institution’s absolute discretion.
- In the event a recipient withdraws from the enrolled Programme at any time after acceptance of the Scholarship (including prior to the 1st day of Orientation), all payments and deposits in connection with the enrolled Programme will be forfeited absolutely to MCKL and no refunds whatsoever shall be due to the recipient.
- If the recipient is subject to disciplinary action, suspended or expelled from MCKL at any time before the completion of the Programme, the Scholarship shall terminate and be automatically revoked. MCKL reserves the right to require the recipient to reimburse the full value of the disbursed Scholarship in such events.
- The Institution reserves the right to involve the Scholarship recipients in various activities organised by the Institution, including interviews, MCKL events, education events, social media, photography/videos, and other promotional activities of MCKL. Attending the Graduation & Awards Ceremony is mandatory, except for students who are already overseas.
- This Scholarship is given at the sole discretion of the Institution. Applicants are not guaranteed approval of the Scholarship upon fulfilling the conditions set.
- This Scholarship is not transferable, cannot be encashed and does not cover external examination fees (if applicable) or textbooks.

General Terms and Conditions
- The Student Leader and Achievement Award (“Award”) is open to students who hold leadership positions AND/OR evidence outstanding achievements or other exemplary behaviour or accomplishments within their school or other communities.
- To be considered for the Award, applicants must be below the age of 25 years and have enrolled in a fulltime MCKL programme and shall have paid the application fee and admission deposit in full.
- Applicants must meet the minimum entry requirement set by the Ministry of Higher Education for SPM or IGCSE equivalent results to be eligible for the Award. Actual results must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar within 7 days of release of results, – failing which applicants may have their Award put under review.
- The Award is given at the sole discretion of MCKL. Applicants do not automatically qualify notwithstanding fulfilling the set conditions. Shortlisted applicants will be required to attend an interview and will be notified via e-mail. Shortlisted applicants who fail to respond to the e-mail by the stipulated deadline will be removed from consideration for the Award.
- The Award comprises a waiver of tuition fees and successful applicants will be informed at least one week before the commencement of the semester.
- Successful applicants are required to pay the semester fees in full before the commencement of the semester upon acceptance of the Award.
- The Award will be disbursed on a semester-by-semester basis. The Award disbursement will commence one semester after the confirmation date of the Award for the remaining duration of the programme. The final disbursement, if there is any Award balance, will be distributed upon the successful completion of the programme.
- The Award is based upon the number of subjects attempted in each semester’s final exams and is limited as follows:

- Financial Aid (“Aid”) is available to students from families in the B40 Category, whose gross immediate household income is less than RM4,000.00 per month or RM48,000 per year.
- To be considered for the Aid, applicants must be below the age of 25 years and have enrolled in a full time MCKL programme and shall have paid the application fee and admission deposit in full.
- Applicants must meet the minimum entry requirement set by the Ministry of Higher Education for SPM or IGCSE equivalent results to be eligible for the Aid. The actual final results must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar within 7 days of release of actual results, – failing which applicants may have their Aid put under review.
- Successful applicants will be informed a month after the submission deadline.
- Successful applicants are required to pay the semester fees in full before the commencement of the semester upon acceptance of the Aid.
- The Aid will be disbursed on a semester-by-semester basis, commencing from the second semester until the end of the programme. The final disbursement will be distributed upon the successful completion of the programme. Students who have not fully settled their semester fees are not entitled to any Aid disbursement in the subsequent semester.
- Unless otherwise specified, the Aid will not be backdated to cover for semesters which have already been completed before application for Aid.
- The Aid is based upon the number of subjects attempted in each semester’s final exams and is limited as follows:

- Applicants shall submit copies of certificates, awards, commendations, references and other documents to evidence achievements, excellence and other exemplary involvement or behaviour.
- Applicants are required to submit proof of parents household income (Both parents EA Form). In the event that parent(s) is unemployed or retired, applicants are required to submit a copy of their parents EA Form/ Proof of Retirement.
- Household income will be a major consideration when shortlisting candidates. If no valid documents are submitted, it shall be assumed that the applicant does not come from a financially disadvantaged background and the selection weightage shall be adjusted accordingly.
- Incomplete forms, unsupported statements and uncertified documents will be rejected.
Application Deadline
- Applications must be submitted to MCKL’s Enrolment and Admission Office by the following dates:
- Round 1 (January 2024 Intake): 1st December 2023;
- Round 2 (July-August 2024 Intake): 31st May 2024.

Award Disbursement
- Disbursement of the Award is subject to the following conditions:
- Execution of the Scholarship Agreement by the recipient as acceptance of the Award;
- Completion of all enrolment and admission requirements for the MCKL Programme;
- Payment of all fees, deposits and other sums not covered by the Award, including a sum equivalent to the first semester’s tuition fees.
- The Award comprises tuition fee waiver on a semester-by-semester basis. The recipient must meet the academic and other requirements stipulated by MCKL for continued disbursement of the Award.
- The Award is based upon the number of subjects attempted in each semester’s final exams and is restricted to the following total number of subjects/credit hours only:

Maintenance of Award
- The Award recipients are required to maintain an academic progress of a minimum of GPA 3.20 (ADTP, A Level, AUSMAT, Diploma programmes) or an average of 70% (ACCA FIA internal assessments) for each semester throughout the Programme.
- All Award recipients are required to pass Service Learning and Character Formation subjects in order to maintain the Award. However:
- ADTP students are not required to take Character Formation;
- ACCA FIA students are required to additionally pass Communication Skills.
General Provisions
- Applicants may apply for more than one MCKL scholarship / bursary / financial aid /discount (collectively, “award”) at any one time but will only be permitted to benefit from one award, which shall generally be the award with the highest quantum.
- In the event a recipient is offered and accepts any scholarship, bursary, financial aid or other sponsorship for their MCKL studies from any other entity or person, (s)he shall inform the Office of the Registrar in writing within two (2) weeks of such acceptance. The Institution reserves the right to withdraw or adjust the quantum of the MCKL Excellence Award to the recipient. Recipients who fail to inform the Office of the Registrar may face disciplinary action and/or be required to reimburse the value of the Award to MCKL.
- This Award is only valid for the duration of the enrolled Programme and does not cover any extension of the Programme beyond its minimum duration.
- The Award may not be transferred to other MCKL programmes or deferred to other intakes except with the prior written consent of MCKL. Such consent may be withheld at the Institution’s absolute discretion.
- In the event a recipient withdraws from the enrolled Programme at any time after acceptance of the Award (including prior to Programme commencement), all payments and deposits in connection with the enrolled Programme will be forfeited absolutely to MCKL and no refunds whatsoever shall be due to the recipient.
- The Institution reserves the right to involve the Award recipients in various activities organised by the Institution, including interviews, MCKL events, education events, social media, photography/videos, and other promotional activities of MCKL.
- This Award is given at the sole discretion of the Institution. Applicants are not guaranteed approval of the Award upon fulfilling the conditions set.
- MCKL reserves the right to amend any criteria and/or terms and conditions for the Award as and when it deems necessary. The decision of MCKL on all matters pertaining to the Award is absolute and final.

General Terms and Conditions
- The Student Leader and Achievement Award (“Award”) is open to students who hold leadership positions AND/OR evidence outstanding achievements or other exemplary behaviour or accomplishments within their school or other communities.
- To be considered for the Award, applicants must be below the age of 25 years and have enrolled in a fulltime MCKL programme and shall have paid the application fee and admission deposit in full.
- Applicants must meet the minimum entry requirement set by the Ministry of Higher Education for SPM or IGCSE equivalent results to be eligible for the Award. Actual results must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar within 7 days of release of results. Failure to do so will result in a suspension or revocation of the Award without further notice.
- The Award is given at the sole discretion of MCKL. Applicants do not automatically qualify notwithstanding fulfilling the set conditions. Shortlisted applicants will be required to attend an interview and will be notified via e-mail. Shortlisted applicants who fail to respond to the e-mail by the stipulated deadline will be removed from consideration for the Award.
- The Award comprises a waiver of tuition fees and successful applicants will be informed at least one week before the commencement of the semester.
- Successful applicants are required to pay the semester fees in full before the commencement of the semester upon acceptance of the Award.
- The Award will be disbursed on a semester-by-semester basis. The Award disbursement will commence one semester after the confirmation date of the Award for the remaining duration of the programme. The final disbursement will be distributed upon the successful completion of the programme.
- The Award is based upon the number of subjects attempted in each semester’s final exams and is limited as follows:

- The Scholarship does not cover other applicable fees and/or expenses (e.g., application fee, general fees, deposits, external examination fees, books, accommodation, living expenses, etc.).
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants shall be Malaysians below the age of 25, (blue identification card).
- Applicants shall provide evidence of academic excellence as follows:
- Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM): 8As (excluding A-); or
- International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE): 8As.
- For SPM results, English 1119 will not be considered in the overall SPM results.For Cambridge IGCSE results, applicants may combine results from different examination boards and multiple examination sittings provided there are no overlapping subjects and within a 12-month period.

- Applicants who are eligible for the Methodist Affiliated Scholarship (“Scholarship”) must be below the age at 25 years, have enrolled in a fulltime MCKL programme, and duly paid the requisite application fee and admission deposit to be considered for the Scholarship.
- Applicants must meet the minimum entry requirement set by the Ministry of Higher Education. Only SPM/ IGCSE/ ICCE results achieved within 2 years from commencement date will be accepted. If forecast results are submitted, the actual final results must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar within 7 days of release of results. Failure to do so will result in a suspension or revocation of the Scholarship (if awarded) without further notice.
- The Scholarship is open to eligible applicants enrolled under any MCKL full time programme with the exception of the ACCA programme.
- The Scholarship application must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar before the end of the second week of the first semester, or within two weeks of the release of actual results, whichever is later. Late applications will not be accepted or considered.
- Applicants may apply for more than one MCKL scholarship/ bursary/ financial aid/ discount (collectively, “award”) at any one time but will be permitted to benefit from only one award, which shall generally be the award with the highest quantum.
- The Scholarship does not cover external examination fees (if applicable) or textbooks. Successful applicants of the Scholarship are required to pay the first semester fees in full, before the commencement of the semester.
- The Scholarship will be disbursed on a semester-by-semester basis, commencing from the second semester until the end of the programme. The final disbursement will be distributed upon the successful completion of the programme. Students who have not fully settled their semester fees are not entitled to any scholarship disbursement in the subsequent semester.

Recipients of the Member of the Local Methodist Church Scholarship are exempted from this requirement.
- All Scholarship recipients are required to pass Service Learning and Character Formation subjects in order to maintain the Scholarship. However:-
- ADTP students are not required to take Character Formation
- All Scholarship recipients are required to attend the Graduation & Awards Ceremony in order to be refunded the final portion of the scholarship, provided the above conditions are also met.
- The Scholarship is not transferable to other MCKL programmes or deferred to other intakes except with the prior written consent of MCKL. Such consent may be withheld at the Institution’s absolute discretion.
- In the event a recipient withdraws from the enrolled Programme at any time after acceptance of the Scholarship (including prior to Programme commencement, any refund of fees is subject to the Terms and Conditions as stated in the Student Handbook.
- If the recipient is subject to disciplinary action, suspended or expelled from MCKL at any time before the completion of the Programme, the Scholarship shall terminate and be
automatically revoked. MCKL reserves the right to require the recipient to reimburse the full value of the disbursed Scholarship in such events. - MCKL reserves the right to involve Scholarship recipients in various activities of the Institution, including interviews, MCKL events, education events, social media, photography/ videos, and other promotional activities of MCKL. Attending the Graduation & Awards Ceremony is mandatory, except for students who are already overseas.
- The Scholarship is given at the sole discretion of MCKL. Applicants will not be automatically awarded the Scholarship notwithstanding fulfilling the conditions set.

Specific Terms and Conditions for various categories

- Applicants may apply for the Scholarship with forecast or trial results but will be required to provide actual results to MCKL within 7 days of release thereof as proof of meeting the criteria.
- Applicants shall submit copies of certificates, awards, commendations, references and other documents to evidence achievements, excellence and other exemplary involvement or behaviour.
- Applicants shall submit proof of household income (Tax Return form, salary slips). Household income will be a major consideration when shortlisting candidates. If no such documents are submitted, it shall be assumed that the applicant does not come from a financially disadvantaged background and the selection weightage shall be adjusted accordingly.
- Incomplete documents will affect the outcome of the application.

Scholarship Disbursement
- Disbursement of the Scholarship is subject to the following conditions:
- Execution of the Scholarship Agreement by the recipient as acceptance of the Scholarship;
- Completion of all enrolment and admission requirements for the MCKL Programme;
- Payment of all fees, deposits and other sums not covered by the Scholarship, including a sum equivalent to the first semester’s tuition fees.
- The Scholarship comprises tuition fee waiver on a semester-by-semester basis. The recipient must meet the academic and other requirements stipulated by MCKL for continued disbursement of the Scholarship.
- The Scholarship is based upon the number of subjects attempted in each semester’s final exams and is restricted to the following total number of subjects/credit hours only:

Maintenance of Scholarship
- The Scholarship recipients are required to maintain an academic progress of a minimum of GPA 3.20 (A Level, AUSMAT, Diploma programmes) for each semester throughout the Programme.
- All Scholarship recipients are required to pass Service Learning and Character Formation subjects in order to maintain the Scholarship.
General Provisions
- Applicants may apply for more than one MCKL scholarship / bursary / financial aid /discount (collectively, “award”) at any one time but will only be permitted to benefit from one award, which shall generally be the award with the highest quantum.
- In the event a recipient is offered and accepts any scholarship, bursary, financial aid or other sponsorship for their MCKL studies from any other entity or person, (s)he shall inform the Office of the Registrar in writing within two (2) weeks of such acceptance. The Institution reserves the right to withdraw or adjust the quantum of the WMS-MCKL Principal’s Scholarship to the recipient. Recipients who fail to inform the Office of the Registrar may face disciplinary action and/or be required to reimburse the value of the Scholarship to MCKL.
- This Scholarship is only valid for the duration of the enrolled Programme and does not cover any extension of the Programme beyond its minimum duration.
- The Scholarship may not be transferred to other MCKL programmes or deferred to other intakes except with the prior written consent of MCKL. Such consent may be withheld at the Institution’s absolute discretion.
- In the event a recipient withdraws from the enrolled Programme at any time after acceptance of the Scholarship (including prior to Programme commencement), all payments and deposits in connection with the enrolled Programme will be forfeited absolutely to MCKL and no refunds whatsoever shall be due to the recipient. MCKL reserves the right to require the recipient to reimburse the full value of the disbursed Scholarship in such events.
- If the recipient is subject to disciplinary action, suspended or expelled from MCKL at any time before the completion of the Programme, the Scholarship shall terminate and be automatically revoked.
- MCKL reserves the right to involve the Scholarship recipients in various activities organised by the Institution, including interviews, MCKL events, education events, social media, photography/videos, and other promotional activities of MCKL.
- This Scholarship is given at the sole discretion of MCKL. Applicants are not guaranteed approval of the Scholarship merely upon fulfilling the conditions set.
- This Scholarship is not transferable or cannot be encashed and does not cover external examination fees (if applicable) or textbooks.
- MCKL reserves the right to amend any criteria and/or terms and conditions for the Scholarship as and when it deems necessary. The decision of MCKL on all matters pertaining to the Scholarship is absolute and final.

- The Alumni Discount Scheme (“Scheme”) is open to all alumni enrolling in any fulltime MCKL programme within two years of completion of the A Levels/ AUSMAT/ CAT/ ACCA FIA programme at MCKL. For the ACCA programme, alumni will be required to register for 3 Fundamental papers in the first semester of the Programme to be eligible for the Scheme.
- Application for the Scheme must be submitted with the Programme Application Form, together with payment of the Application Fee and Admission Deposit.
- Alumni who are scholarship holders are eligible for the Scheme save and except for alumni receiving 75% and above scholarships from MCKL or other parties.
- The Scheme is not transferable or redeemable for cash or other monetary benefits.
- Alumni who qualify for the Scheme will receive discounts reflected in the first and second semester invoices of the Programme, at RM 500.00 each.

MCKL Industry Scholarship
- The MCKL Industry Scholarship (hereinafter referred as MCKLIS) is open for Diploma in Computer Science, Diploma in Information Technology, Diploma in Digital Business, Diploma in Digital Marketing and Diploma in Financial Technology applicants.
- This MCKLIS may be awarded to students from families whose gross immediate household income is less than RM4,000.00 per month or RM48,000 per year.
- To be considered for the MCKLIS, applicants must be Malaysian (blue identification card) below the age of 25 years and have enrolled in a full-time MCKL programme and shall have paid the application fee and admission deposit in full.
- Applicants may apply for more than one MCKL scholarship/ bursary/ financial aid/ discount (collectively, “award”) at any one time but will be permitted to benefit from only one award, which shall generally be the award with the highest quantum.
- The MCKLIS is given at the sole discretion of MCKL. Applicants do not automatically qualify notwithstanding fulfilling the conditions set. Shortlisted applicants will be required to attend an interview and will be notified via e-mail. Shortlisted applicants who fail to respond to the e-mail by the stipulated deadline will be removed from consideration for the MCKLIS.
- Successful applicants will be informed at least one week before the commencement of the semester.
- Successful applicants are required to pay the first semester fees in full upon acceptance of the MCKLIS before the commencement of the semester.
- Students who have not fully settled their semester fees are not entitled to the MCKLIS disbursement in the subsequent semester.

Other Scholarships
- This award is only applicable for 100% discount off tuition fees (A Level up to 4 subjects). However, there is no scholarship/waiver of tuition fee for A Level German Language subject.
- This award is open to all students who achieve a minimum GPA of 3.80 in their latest internal examinations and holds at least one (1) permanent leadership position (President / Vice President) in an MCKL organisation. i) Each term of co-curricular service may only be used once to qualify for the Preston L Peach Award. Reapplying for another semester after previously receiving the award must include another term of service. ii) Each term of co-curricular service must have at least two months of overlap with the duration of the academic semester in question.
- This application is valid for only one semester. Previous recipients of this award will need to re-apply if they qualify for the award in subsequent semester(s).
- In the event that the recipient withdraws from the programme, is suspended or expelled by the College at any point of time, before the completion of the programme, this award shall automatically be revoked.
- The College reserves the right to involve recipients in interviews, advertisements, photography or publicity-related activities for the purpose of promoting MCKL as a leading education institution.

- Applicants must submit their results to the Office of the Registrar within 7 days of release of the actual results to confirm their eligibility for the Scholarship, – failing which applicants may have their Scholarship be put under review.
- Applicants may apply for more than one MCKL scholarship/ bursary/ financial aid/ discount (collectively, “award”) at any one time but will be permitted to benefit from only one award, which shall generally be the award with the highest quantum.
- Recipients of the Scholarship are required to pay the first semester fees in full before the commencement of the semester. Scholarship disbursement will commence from the second semester onwards.
- The tuition fees coverage for the Scholarship are as follow:

- Students who have not fully settled their semester fees are not entitled to any Scholarship disbursement in the subsequent semester. The Scholarship will be disbursed on a semester-by-semester basis with the final disbursement upon the successful completion of the programme.
- In the event a recipient is offered and accepts any scholarship, bursary, financial aid or other sponsorship for their MCKL studies from any other entity or person, (s)he shall inform the Office of the Registrar in writing within two (2) weeks of such acceptance. The Institution reserves the right to withdraw or adjust the quantum of the Scholarship/ Bursary to the recipient. Recipients who fail to inform the Office of the Registrar may face disciplinary action and/or be required to reimburse the value of the Scholarship/ Bursary to MCKL.
- The Scholarship is not applicable to and does not cover:
- Subjects/ Credit hours in which no examinations/assessments were attempted;
- Withdrawn/ Dropped subjects; and
- Repeat subjects/ papers.
- The Scholarship is only valid for the duration of the enrolled programme and does not cover any extension of the programme beyond its minimum duration.
- All Scholarship recipients are required to pass Service Learning and Character Formation subjects in order to maintain the Award. However:
- ACCA and ADTP students are not required to take Character Formation;
- ACCA FIA students are required to additionally pass Communication Skills.
- In the event that the recipient withdraws from the programme, defers to another intake, transfers to another programme, is suspended or expelled by MCKL at any point of time before the completion of the programme, the Scholarship shall terminate and be automatically revoked.
- Any refund of fees is subject to the Terms and Conditions as stated in the Student Handbook.
- MCKL reserves the right to involve Scholarship recipients in various activities of the Institution, including interviews, MCKL events, education events, social media, photography/ videos, and other promotional or marketing activities of MCKL.
- The Scholarship is given at the sole discretion of MCKL. Applicants are not guaranteed approval of the Scholarship/ Bursary notwithstanding fulfilling the conditions set.
- This Scholarship is not transferable or cannot be encashed and does not cover external examination fees (if applicable) or textbooks.
- MCKL reserves the right to amend any criteria and/or terms and conditions of the Scholarship as and when it deems necessary. The decision of MCKL on all matters pertaining to the Scholarship is absolute and final.
