Office Of The Registrar Executive


Methodist College Penang Pykett Campus is looking for an Executive to support our Registrar department with the daily operation activities.

What you will be doing:

  • Effectively perform all administrative functions related to admitting new students, including arranging orientation for all intakes.
  • Regularly update student profiles, including student status, program status, subjects enrolled, and personal information.
  • Systematically file student records received from academic and administrative departments for easy retrieval upon request.
  • Attend to student/parent inquiries (walk-ins & emails) promptly.
  • Prepare student letters or documents for verification of student status in the college for various purposes.
  • Process all scholarship/bursary and financial aid applications and prepare corresponding letters and agreements.
  • Maintain records for all scholarship/bursary and financial aid matters, including reimbursement to students.
  • Perform the set-up of UCMS Registration Module and UCMS fees.
  • Serve as the liaison officer for e-IPTS, Tracer Study, PTPTN loan, and EPF withdrawal, while also updating the e-IPTS system to ensure the College’s student data is up to date.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the direct superior or the Senior Management Team

Who are we looking for?  

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields.
  • At least 1 year of relevant working experience in Registry Office, preferably in educational setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English, Malay & Mandarin.
  • Looking for an organized, self-motivated individual who thrives under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer literate with good IT skills and proficient in MS Office and MS Excel.
