*MPU: The Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) requires all students to take Mata Pelajaran Umum (MPU) (i.e. General Studies) within the duration of their studies. MCKL established a series of subjects that different programs need to implement for all students to meet the Ministryās requirements. Subjects will differ depending on the institution and the level of degree the student is taking.Ā

1. What is the average class size in ADTP at MCKL?
The average class size is around 10 to 20 students.
2. How much is the approximate overall cost per year in US?
The approximate overall cost per year (including tuition fees, room and board, cost of living) may range from USD23,000 to USD70,000 depending on university. Tuition fees may be reduced by securing scholarships from the US university.
3. How do I apply for scholarships in the US?
Merit-based scholarships are typically available when students apply to universities. Some scholarships are automatically granted to students who have been accepted by the university, and some scholarships require separate applications.
When students are in the US, students can still apply for more scholarships within the institution and scholarships are accumulative, subject to terms and conditions of each scholarship.
4. Does ADTP at MCKL provide exclusive scholarships to study in the US?
Yes. Currently, ADTP at MCKL offers attractive exclusive scholarships to study in Messiah University and University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in the US.

5. What if I am not sure of what major I would like to pursue?
ADTP is a very flexible programme and students have a wide variety of majors to choose from. Students can declare their major(s) when they have decided to transfer to US.
6. Do I need to take MPU subjects?
It is compulsory for students to take MPU subjects.
7. Do I need to take a foundation course to enter into ADTP?
No. Students can be admitted to ADTP after secondary school, provided the entry requirements are met.
8. How does the credit system work in ADTP?
Academic work is organized in concentrated modules called courses. Completion of the course results in a course grade and a set number of credit hours. Successful graduation of a degree programme requires a specific number of credit hours and the fulfillment of the required courses of the chosen major.
