Electronic Resources

  • There are two types of electronic resources available:

    Subscribed databases
A list of the databases the library is subscribed to is available here. Login to a library account is needed to access the databases.

    Open Access resources
Open access resources are articles that can be accessed without any login. A list of open access resources is available here

Electronic Resources

  • The library catalogue is meant for searching for library resources such as books, e-books, magazines, and media collections. These can be searched via the library OPAC with any relevant keywords. (It is very similar to Google search.)

1. First, check that you are at the correct shelf.

2. If you are at the correct shelf, check that you are at the correct place in the sequence. Books with the same call number are shelved alphabetically first, then numerically (e.g., QA 805, QA 809, QC 21, QC 42, etc). Also check above and below- even behind – as the book may have been removed and then replaced incorrectly.

3. The book may not be re-shelved or another student may be using it within the library. Please refer to the library staff for assistance if you are still unable to locate it.

Services

  • Yes. However, you need to register at the circulation counter. You are subject to the provisions of the Malaysia Copyright Act 1987.
Binding and laminating services are available for a fee. Please refer to the library staff at the circulation counter for details.
