For nine Methodist College Kuala Lumpur (MCKL) students, the New Year will be an exhilarating time for them as they prepare for the next phase of their higher education journey in the United States and Australia. Through MCKL’s American Degree Transfer Program (ADTP), these students were accepted into the universities of their choice, bringing them one step closer to fulfilling their dreams.

Living the Values of the MCKL Signature Courses
The 2026 Autism Acceptance Campaign, held on 25 April 2026, brought together 21 student volunteers from MCKL’s Pre-University and Diploma programmes to champion the theme “Unlabelled”. More than just a volunteer initiative, the event served as a practical application of MCKL’s signature courses, Character Formation and Service Learning, in line with the vision of “MCKL 4.0: Excellence for Life” to provide a holistic education that nurtures well-rounded individuals.

Five students from the Cambridge A Level programme at Methodist College Kuala Lumpur (MCKL) were recognised as outstanding performing learners in Malaysia, and globally, in the June 2022 examination series. In announcing the results, the students were honoured at the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards ceremony, hosted by the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) in Subang Jaya recently.

MCKL’s annual Christmas Rally reflects on the true meaning of Joy
Methodist College Kuala Lumpur (MCKL) Ethos Committee and MCKL Christian Fellowship kicked off December’s celebrations with the annual Christmas Rally, seeing 150 students and staff attend to reflect and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Gracing the event was Bishop of the Methodist Church in Malaysia, Reverend Dr T. Jeyakumar, who was accompanied by Dr Chua Ping Yong, Chief Executive Officer, and Reverend Herbert D. John, Chaplain at MCKL.

MCKL student group wow judges with their video entry tackling climate change
An all-women trio from the Cambridge A Level Preparatory (PREPCAL) programme raced against the clock to win third prize at the second installation of the Malaysia Climate Action Week, organised by the British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (BMCC) recently. The exciting five-day national event featured organisations and individuals taking active steps towards climate action reflecting this year’s theme, A.C.T Now! Adapt, Collaborate, Transcend.
